Pop star leaps offstage to split up fight

Pop star leaps offstage

Whenever a rock star orders you to “knock it off” you understand you’ve crossed the line.
Florence and the Machine singer Florence Welch went one step further, leaping offstage in to the crowd to split up a fight at a concert in Scotland on December 10.

Video of the rock star moment, that was filmed by fans, shows the fiery redhead stay in the center of a song to berate an organization fighting near to the stage.

“Excuse me, all of you, stop it!” she says.
“I can’t sing this song while there is a fight going on in front of me. It doesn’t matter who is right or wrong, just sort it out and be friends. I feel like a teacher.”

The singer then notices a woman has started crying through the brawl and takes matters in to her very own hands, jumping down from the stage because the crowd cheers.

Welch hugs the young girl before sorting out the angry parties with several quick words and giving the thumbs around the crowd.

After scrambling back onstage she tells the crowd “kiss and make up and be good to each other”.

With the crowd in check, the band went on to finish their performance without a hitch.
